How it all began

It all started with a group of friends playing FIFA in a backroom, then we officially started introducing gaming in our township in 2013. We would use funds from our bursaries and school allowances to build gaming computers. With the interest growing and numbers increasing, in 2021 we embarked on a process of scouting for talented and promising gamers. That was when we created this gaming club, which now consists of exceptionally-skilled graduates and students of different ages and from different fields. In no time, organisations like ACGL and The Toyota Gaming Engine (TTGE) recognised us and partnered with us.

Management

The founder, Asakhe Gqozo, is a mechanical engineer. He has worked for Coca-Cola SA and is currently working for Nestlē SA as a projects engineer.

Sinethemba Nojoko and Gcobisa Mbewu run the club day to day. They function both as coordinators and partly as scouters.

Achievements

• 1st place in the Coca-Cola ZA football gaming tournament
• 2nd place in the Trenchtown FIFA 23 tournament
• 3rd place in the Community FIFA 23 Gaming tournament
• Top 3 in the Radisson Red FIFA 23 tournament
